I researched and researched to find this desk. But half the time when I put in that much effort, I feel like an idiot for buying something online that I would have rejected if I’d seen in with my own eyes in the store. But this desk is wonderful!!! My top concern was weight and ease of portability. I want to be able to carry an “office” on my back. I travel around all day, and I was looking for something I can easily set up anywhere and also something that gives me the option of sitting cross-legged on the floor or even standing at a desk rather than sitting on a hard chair to do work. There was like almost no assembly. It’s very easy to just pop up when you pull it out of the box. And it’s SO LIGHTWEIGHT! I slipped into into a thin drawstring pack threw it on my back, and voila it’s light as a feather on my back or under my arm, I could hop on a bike with this not affecting my balance. At the same time it’s very sturdy. I leaned on it with quite a lot of my weight to test it out and it didn’t wiggle or shift at all. I won’t try this, but I get the sense that if I were to drop it, it would probably be fine. Feels like it could withstand a bit of knocking around. Also I love the adjustability- the height, and the angle. Also my feet and much of my legs can go under it when I sit on the floor cross-legged with it. Until now I have been working on a simple floor desk that I made from cardboard. This Neeto desk is just as light as my cardboard desk, but folds up which I couldn’t do with my homemade desk. I love love love this desk. I suppose some people might say it’s not the prettiest thing in the world with big clunky crossbars but their functionality is worth it. It’s not the ugliest either. I like the Cherry color and it feels nice to the touch. Oh, one thing I might suggest when you first open it up and start playing with the adjustments- I couldn’t figure out at first how to tilt the tableplane at an angle. There are gray plastic tabs on each side underneath. You have to flip those outward to unlock the default 90-degree flat table plane. I was at first afraid to pull too hard cause I thought with my luck I would break the plastic tabs off. But you do need to apply a little pressure because they are in “lock” position-I didn’t get that at first. And the instructions didn’t really help me understand what to do, but I was able to figure it out after just fiddling around with it for a minute. After you get the feel of it, it’s very easy, and I like the locking feature because it feels secure. I took a picture of what one of the gray tabs look like in the locked position, and then in the unlocked position maybe that will help someone. Oh another tip- I bought this along with the following little cordless clip-on light: Hapurs LED Desk Lamp, 2 in 1 (Stand on Own & Clip Everywhere) Gooseneck Tube Touch Sensitive LED USB Portable Rechargeable Dimmable Portable Lightweight Table Reading Study Clip Lamp LightI am so so so pleased with this little desk and light- for about 50 bucks I now have my little portable office, and with my iPad weighs maybe 5 pounds! As a college student who spends long hours studying, I️ experience back and shoulder pain when hunched over at a traditional desk for an extended period of time. Even so, laying down to study may not always be ideal without a bed desk. I saved up for this table since it was on the pricier side. I received a table that was wobbly with the legs not only that but there was a large glue stain on the table making a lump. I contacted the seller telling them I was super unhappy with this product and how cheap it was and the defect it came with. They only supported that their item was superior and that they rather send me a replacement instead of a refund. So I went ahead and gave them another try. The second table was as crappy as the first one. The Leg were loose and barely hold up on my bed. In an honest review some may have been lucky to get a good quality table. I got a crappy cheap table for an heavy price and customer service was not that great and wanted things their way. Super unsatisfied customer. everything it described it was. Super unsatisfied customer.UpdateTheir customer Service has been in contacted with me and really cared about customer satisfaction. I wish they was from the start, but it did happen after. Their table is pretty good quality, but didn't fully meet my needs because of the inflexible legs they have which were a bit flimsy. I wanted to lay flat on my back and be able to work on the table, but it was impossible with this. Hopefully they can redesign this table and I will be back for it.Loved it as it is very comfortable and we can use it for multiple purposes (To eat food on bed, To work on laptop on bed or on floor)I bought this as I will need to be able to work from bed, and then sofa, following some surgery that I'm currently awaiting. I did a lot of research, I'm a journalist by trade so cannot help it, before settling on this particular model. I am very glad I did. Not the cheapest out there by a long shot, but you get what you pay for and I paid for something that is solidly put together, sturdy in use, and easily adjustable. This ticks all those boxes. It comes ready assembled apart from the tray retaining 'lip' which just slots in. Your first impression will likely be the same as mine: this is one very solid tray. The legs unfold with a comforting resistance, they are not going to collapse on you in use believe me. They adjust easy enough as well, and the fact that you can also adjust the table top to different angles means you have versatility built in. I've tried it for working on a 13" laptop in bed, perfect. I've tried it for the same but sitting on the sofa, ditto. I've used it to eat my tea while watching the rugby on the telly, my bad, tray good. Worth every penny in my opinion. It looks really good and i was impressed when i opened it but there is one thing that is completely wrong about this product.... the surface is like Teflon. It is super slippery, my laptop slides along it even with the rubber on the bottom. I would be crazy to put a glass on it whilst working as it would slip right off. I am not exaggerating. As i like the design i have bought a non slip mat to go on it and not it is a lot lot lot better. Maybe they should include one in the price as it is at the top end of the market for these things.I purchased the Avantree Adjustable Bed Table for use with my 13" MacBook Pro, when working in bed or while sat on the couch.I initially tried the Coavas Portable Laptop Stand table, but found that product to be too heavy, cumbersome, and the table surface to be positioned to high to comfortably type on.The Avantree Bed Table was delivered on time and well packaged. The build quality of the stand is good, but the adjustable hinges (to activate the tilt mechanism) are plastic and feel slightly flimsy. However, and to be fair, I have been using the product heavily for a number of weeks and have not had any problems to date. The removable lip (used to secure the laptop when tilting the surface) loosely fits to the table surface and has become detached on a couple of occasions. However, this is not a major issue as the lip can be simply pushed back in to place. The table itself is very light and can easily be carried in one hand. The height and tilt of the surface can be adjusted and I found it very easy to position the stand in order to provide a comfortable working surface (I am able to touch-type on this work-top, something that was not possible with the Coavas Portable Stand). The table itself feels fairly stable, secure, and remains rooted, even on soft surfaces (e.g. the bed and the couch).Given this, I would recommend the Avantree Adjustable Bed Table as a well made product, suitable for laptops, and tablets. This product perfectly meets my needs.I've been using this for a few days now, and have good first impressions of the desk and the seller (AvantreeDirect). It turns a normal desk into a functional standing desk, assuming you can tidy up enough to fit the feet on. Plenty of space underneath it for shuffling things around.I'm using it to either put my laptop on, or just to move my wireless keyboard and trackpad up so I can get out of the chair for a while. This works well alongside a second monitor. I like the various adjustments the desk provides. The only downside I've noticed is it seems to wobble a bit when fully extended, but I still find it useful.I find this a great alternative to sitting all day. Once that becomes uncomfortable I can either put my laptop on it, or simply use it to raise up my wireless keyboard and track-pad so I can change posture for a while. I think the health benefits of rotating your work position are self-evident after you've been doing it for a while.Mouse users may struggle to find enough space, but – anecdotally – if you're worried about your health you should switch to a trackpad or trackball anyway for the sake of your shoulder.Presentation: I was strangely impressed by the box. It's somehow simple and elegant. The desk itself is good for the price-point, see attached photos. You may notice in the photos I'm not using the "lip" shown in the product images, instead covering the 2 holes with the plastic disks also provided in the box. I find this more comfortable. It's easy to swap them (they just push in/out of the ready-made holes, no glue etc), so you can try both. If you have a larger/heavier laptop, e.g. 17", it may slip down while angled: the lip is useful to stop them falling off.I also found the seller (AvantreeDirect) good to deal with for a support issue, which I reviewed separately under seller feedback.I was looking at some lightening deals and mossed the one for a laptop table! I didnt think i desperately needed one but wanted a solution to my childing using the floot to do her homework.Upon looking on Amazon, this particular one had the most purchases and reviews. I ordered and received the next day.Packaging: It was delivered as it was in the product box, the comes in a carry handle box. It wasnt taped up so can be accessed quick. I opened and slid out the table. It was in clear packaging with foam at each corner to protect it, i found that to be a good idea as i have had items arrive damaged, especially corners and its time consuming to complain and get a replacement when needed. So a relief that it was secured this way. Once these foam were removed, i was able to open the plastic wrap.Contents: 2 clear packaged bags, one with the table, another with the booklet and silicon foot, stubs.Instructions: This came in a long leaflet form, with many sides, containing instructions in many languages. I found the English part and gave it a quick read. There is a few clear steps on what you need to do along with diagrams. I found this to be striaght forward and to the point.Table: the table itself, visually looks strong and sturdy. The colour i must say i am not a fan off. It reminds me of dated kitchen cupboards my parents once had! It is a bit yellow! Anyway, i flipped it over at looked at the back. Each leg has a small clip to lower each leg and also a small lever type part to bring the table into a tilt position as required. Following the instructions, all i did was pull each leg towards the side and adjusted the height, hey presto thats it! I added in the stub dots into the top holes and my table was complete. It was that simple.I placed on the floor, it was straight and steady, i placed my laptop on it, no issues with load, i put a few books on top, again no issues holding it up.Now i have two product testers in the form of two kids. Once home from school i let them at it. They promptly used it as a tool to get up off the floor, baring their weight on it, i must say i was worried it would break or buckle but it didnt. They had their dinner on top of it and did their homework on the floor with it. It suited both occasions. My daughter adjusted the height herself (9 year old figured it out) wiped it down ( easy to clean too ) and she folded it up herself and put against the sofa, again she figured it out. It was really that simple to use.I am really impressed with the quality of it, feels really strong and sturdy. Its versatile and compact which i love. I do not like the colour but will get used to it. It is priced quite high though for what it actually is. However the quality of it makes up for it. Built to last i presume. I found one issue with this which may be on my product alone. One side of the leg stand adjusts without the button being pressed. Whilst the pther side needs pressing. I assume its a fault. Its not a big deal but a small niggle.Overall i am very happy 4.5/5.
