Wanted to update my office furniture, did a lot of research, and did not find anything in retail furniture stores that I liked that was not thousands of dollars. Took a chance and ordered this desk and 2 bookcases through Amazon, and so far (used it for about a month) it is great. Very sturdy (and heavy!), drawers are all full extension, close nicely, and very well made. The stain was darker than it appeared online, which was the only minor downside. All the pieces look good together, and am very happy with the purchase. Came 100% assembled with no damage, although the packaging was chock full of Styrofoam and plastic (which I guess is the price to pay for undamaged shipping).
