But when it arrived, I could see it was very sturdily built unlike the flimsy desktop organizers that are being retailed at most stores and storefronts.Pros: Very sturdily built solid wood (or wood-like finish, unsure of material)Stylish, elegant finishSix removable separatorsSpace between separators can hold fairly large amounts of paper and maybe small files.No-tool assembly of six separatorsCons: Rather heavy - may impose a strain if housed on glass topped tables.Separators are flexible, so they are not firmly seated, and can be a little wobbly, though this does not impact their functionI will update my review after a six month use-period to determine how well the product holds up. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.Update as of August 2019: Going from four to five stars!This sturdy desktop sorter has held up well to use over a nearly five year period.No scratches, no peeling, and really easy to clean. I bought another one a few months after my original purchase and it has also held up well to use. I initially felt the price was high, but it has been worth every penny. Highly recommended!
