It’s a beautiful desk, it was worth it after it was assembled. Although it took me 5 and a half hours to do so. The instructions aren’t in english, none of the parts are labeled so you just have to go by the pictures which aren’t the easiest to read either. But overall it is a beautiful desk and i’m happy with the buy, i recommend! The glossy look to the desk is what i love most! the drawers are a great size too.A quick note for those who don't like reading huge reviews: Yes, the instructions are very unclear. My biggest advice now that I've got the hindsight is to unpack all the pieces, then READ THROUGH THE INSTRUCTIONS. Read through them and see how everything will end up slotting together (like the legs with the top of the desk) and that will make actually putting everything together WAY easier! For the price, you can't beat it. I had to rebuild the legs... 3 times? Because yes, the instructions really are not clear at all. It's pretty doable, even on your own (unless you have to strength in your upper body like me because you DO need to do quite a lot of flipping.). My only real complaint is that there are two parts where it says to take a specific kind of tool, kinda looks like a really big thumb tack, and MAKE a hole for a screw. I don't know if it was supposed to be included in the kit? But I didn't have one, so I just didn't add those two screws. They're part of the part that makes the drawer slide in and out, but I've had this desk for quite some time and it seems like it doesn't make a difference.Overall, it's sturdy, well balanced, and looks like it cost more than $60. I use it in my bedroom as a vanity for makeup and the drawers are PERFECT for storing my collection. It's big enough that I can keep all my makeup AND still have room to use it as a desk with my laptop and eat lunch on it too, but it's small enough to fit in my VERY limited space. I'd honestly buy this one again.BEWARE: not ikea clarity instructions! Frustrating at times...but hopefully assembly pix here add some help. (?)I put this desk together with my 4 year old who is becoming a furniture assembly queen herself. ( it's a puzzle, of a fun sort for her.) Anyhow, i love the shiny white finish on the desk. Back side/ stabilizer mdf has raw edges making desk seem cheap. You can only see it from below desk...but still. The devil is in the details. Speaking of which, drawers do NOT line up perfectly. Drives me a bit crazy...(misalignment was not my fault) but I'll get over it...eventually.One drawer bottom came cracked and drawer insides a "bit" on the flimsy side. Like plastic hammer-in plugs holding it together.Overall, still happy with purchase as desk is perfect proportion and visible surface finishes are pretty, at a decent price. Shipping took 9 days JUST to send item out...plus delivery time. (Chair and light also amazon purchase).Assembly was a night mare sCan directions barcode on the boxThis desk was frustrating to assemble but not impossible. I wish I would’ve used superglue as I assembled it though because it’s definitely not very sturdy. I got this on a steal though and it does the job I need it to. And I love the look of the deskOk—I was very skeptical about purchasing this desk because of all of the negative reviews. BUT; I went ahead and bought it anyway because it was exactly what I was looking for (after I spray painted the legs gold) and it was easy on my pockets compared to similar desks. Now, I KNOW that I am not one for building furniture, I know that boyfriend is also not one for building furniture. So in order to save some frustration I asked my cousin who’s more familiar with handy work to assemble it for me. The instructions were in Chinese however he was able to use the pictures and some common sense as a guide. There were a couple steps that he knew didn’t make sense, so he followed his common sense instinct and it was assembled within an hour! He said “it wasn’t that bad” after I gave him a good warning about the difficulty. I took the advice of another buyer and laid marble contact paper over the back panel to cover the exposed holes and add a touch of “glam”. Overall, I LOVE this desk and would purchase it 100 times over. You just need to lay all of your pieces out, take a few deep breaths, always use common sense and go piece by piece. My cousin assembled the legs, then the sliders for the drawers and brought it all together. Mid way, I was able to apply the contact paper and that also was a breeze! Five stars for the desk itself, it looks very high end. Three starts for assembly. We bought this desk and moved with it once and it broke don’t recommendAfter reading the reviews I was hesitant to buy. So many complaints about putting it together. My 15 year old daughter managed to put it together on her own before I got home from work. She has no particular experience with assembly so I’m going to say anyone can assemble. Desk is perfect in my daughters room. Fits her laptop and homework perfectly.Okay so right off the bat. BEAUTIFUL DESK. i will say it did have a scuff mark on the side from shipping reasons but it’s honestly okay because it’s just a beyond really pretty desk. I gave this desk 1 star for assembly because it was sooo confusing. it took 3 people and a few youtube videos to figure out how to put this together. all in all i think it wasn't worth it because after 1 months use its starting to fall apart especially the drawers. The price is super ridiculous as this desk sucks. Please do NOT BUY THIS !!! It’s such a waste of money . There’s no instructions to assembleThe quality is so cheapAnd mine broke when I was assembling it.IKEA as cheaper ones and better quality this is not worth it!I’m so disappointed ☹️I built the desk, with the use of the QRcode instructions and app. Took me 2 hours, because I had to redo a a few steps since the instructions had wrong instructions.. The paper instructions were just bad. It’s a good looking desk, but for $200 you can go to ikea and buy the BESTA desk that looks exactly this, but the ikea one is actually good quality, and it’s bigger. I wanted to get this one because I wanted a smaller table for my vanity. There is a giant scratch on the top, but I think I’ll try find an acrylic or glass top to hide the scratch. The drawers are crappy, it’s not smooth. I’m pretty happy with my purchase, everything works just fine with it. It’s tAll enough to fit a small metal $15 ikea night stand underneath for additional storage. It took me about 2 hours to assemble, while taking my time. It was easy enough. I'm very happy with it, especially for the price I paid. It's perfect and exactly what I wanted! I can fit acrylic organizers in the drawers to store my makeup and beauty products.
