If you're using an adjustable height workstation with a fairly low weight limit, make sure you read the weight on this sucker: 15 pounds! Some of the adjustable height desks have weight limits as low as 60 pounds and this tray could push you over the limit. The hardware is exceptionally high quality, though over-built.I haven't installed or used it but the action of the linkage is very solid/positive. Seems like it will be a winner.I'll update the review as soon as I've got some use out of it, though that may be a while because my desk is currently back ordered.Update:I've gotten a lot of use out of it. Works exceptionally well, though a few gotchas that are common to most (all?) keyboard trays, not just this one.The only issue I consider an actual problem with this is that it can easily damage your keyboard. If you don't lower the tray enough when you stow it, there is an angle on the plastic clamp cover that fairly gently pushes down on the keyboard and allows you to slide it under. It will press on the keys but not damage them. If you don't remember to lower the tray before pulling it back out, a very sharp edge on the back side of that plastic clamp cover will tear the keys off your keyboard before you even realize it's happening. I lost two keys off my Logitech keyboard before I finally remembered not to do that. It's a design defect IMO. I'd knock the rating down to 4.5 stars if they allowed fractions. If you use a digitizing tablet and are left-handed, there isn't any room on the left for the tablet. The only way you can use it in conjunction with the keyboard is to lower the shelf and slide the keyboard under the desk, then have the tablet on top of the desk. It works, and it's not horrible *if* you have height adjustable workstation. If you've got a fixed height table you're clamping this to, you may have to stow the tray and put the keyboard on top of your desk while you use the tablet. I'm using an Ergotron adjustable height desk so I can get it to a position where it's reasonably comfortable for both keyboard height and tablet height.A cordless mouse, if the shelf is bumped or jiggled hard, usually falls right to the floor. With a corded mouse/keyboard the cables dangle and they draw a lot of attention from cats - who will then pull your mouse to the floor. The mouse area is big enough for ordinary use. You can do some gaming on it though if you get a bit carried away in the heat of an FPS you could fall right off the end of the world with a quick movement of the mouse. The thing I noticed (being a big guy) is that during intense play I put a *lot* of pressure on the shelf, especially when I'm standing. It bends quite a bit but so far no sign of problems. If you use corded headphones a lot, the cord will tangle with the keyboard and mouse cables. It's *excellent* to be able to tweak the height of the keyboard, especially if you have any sort of back or shoulder issues. You can either fix it at the correct height for whatever ails you, or you can vary the height periodically during the day for a change of position. It's worth buying just for this one benefit.I like it, it's very well built, somewhat overbuilt but not as badly as I originally thought. Combined with the height adjustable workstation this is probably as good as you'll find.Once I have space for a home shop again, I'll build a new desktop that's about 4" to 5" deeper than the current one, then use this keyboard and desktop for a smaller, less frequently used workstation. It's not because I don't like this particular keyboard tray, I just prefer a normal desktop setup for drawing and for gaming.I'll put up a separate review of the Ergotron adjustable height workstation, but the summary reads like this: Buy it and put one of these keyboard trays on it. Hands down the best move I've made for my physical comfort/well being in ages. (excluding a few odds and ends that I've purchased in Personal Care -> Sexual Wellness department of course! :p)
